The Family Court Bill, 2009

An Act to vest jurisdiction for all family matters and juvenile matters in a Division of the High Court to be called the Family Court and to make provision for matters connected therewith

The Bill seeks to vest jurisdiction for all family matters in a Division of the High Court to be called the Family Court and to make provision for matters incidental thereto. When passed, the resulting Act will come into force upon Proclamation.
