An Act to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to accord self-government to Tobago, to repeal the Tobago House of Assembly Act, Chap. 25:03 and for related matters

This Bill originated in the 1st Session, was carried over to the 2nd Session, then to the 3rd Session, the 4th Session and the 5th Session.

The Joint Select Committee appointed to consider the Constitution (Amendment) (Tobago Self-Government) Bill, 2020 has proposed draft companion Bills to accord self government to Tobago. The Committee is requesting public comment on the proposals.

The Draft Constitution (Amendment) (Tobago Self-Government) Bill, 2020 and the Draft Tobago Island Administration Bill, 2021 are available for download via this link.
