Take Note of the 17th Annual Report of the Ombudsman

- 1st Session - 5th Republican Parliament

BE IT RESOLVED that this honourable House/Senate take note of the Seventeenth Annual Report of the Ombudsman for the period January 1, 1994 to December 31, 1994 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Report"):

AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to Standing Order 71, this honourable Senate appoint six members to sit with Members of the Senate/House as a joint select committee for the purpose of considering the said Report and the functions and duties of the Office of the Ombudsman and to make recommendations for a more effective machinery for the Office of the Ombudsman so that Part II of Chap. 6 of the Constitution of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago can be given effect.
