Debate resumed on the Appropriation (Financial Year 2015) Bill, 2014. The Minister of Planning and Sustainable Development was the first to contribute on the Bill for the day’s sitting followed by the Member for Port-of-Spain South and the Prime Minister. The Minister of Finance and the Economy then responded to the various comments made by previous members and closed the debate. The Bill was referred to Standing Finance Committee for the consideration of the Bill together with the estimates.

The 8th sitting of the House of Representatives adjourned to Friday September 19th, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. where it is the intention of the House to consider the Miscellaneous Provisions (Proceeds of Crime, Anti-Terrorism, Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago)(No.2) Bill, 2014 through to its completion.
