Sen. Jayanti Lutchmedial-Ramdial was first to respond, followed by Sen. Dr. Paul Richards, the Attorney General, Sen. Wade Mark and Sen. Sunity Maharaj. The Minister of Finance then rose to wind up the debate. The bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. No amendments were made. The bill was read a third time and passed.
