The Bill was then referred to a Committee of the Whole to be considered clause by clause. The Bill was then read a third time and passed by a division of 29 for, none against and no abstentions.
The Attorney General moved the second reading of the Criminal Records (Rehabilitation of Offenders) Bill, 2026. Three senators contributed to the debate before the wind up by the Attorney General. The bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole Senate for consideration clause by clause. The bill was approved with amendments. The bill was read a third time and passed.
