Government's Monetary Policy Directions

Sen. Dr. Marlene Attz raised as a matter on the Motion for the adjournment of the Senate, the need for the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago to outline its monetary policy directions regarding recent and proposed currency changes and its impact on small business and low-income consumers. The Minister of Planning, Economic Affairs and Development and Minister in the Ministry of Finance responded.
