Debate continued on a Motion to adopt the Report of the Joint Select Committee on the Miscellaneous Provisions (Local Government Reform) Bill, 2020 The Minister of Health resumed his contribution from the last occasion, followed by the Chief Whip. Nine members made contributions before the mover of the Motion, the Member for Arouca/Maloney, rose to wind up the debate. The Motion was approved. The Bill was then read a second time, considered in Committee of the Whole and passed. At third reading, a division was taken, the result of which was 20 members voting for, none against and 12 abstentions.
