The Clerk read the Proclamation by Her Excellency the President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago declaring the 2nd Session of the 13th Parliament open. The National Anthem was played.

Prayer was offered by members of the Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Baháʼí Faith and Orisha communities.

 

Leave of absence was granted to Mr. Stuart Young, MP for Port Of Spain North / St Ann’s West, Mr. Keith Scotland, MP for Port of Spain South and Mr. Joel Sampson, MP for Tobago West from today’s Sitting of the House.
