The Prime Minister, the Honourable Dr. Keith Rowley, made a statement on the restoration of the Red House, assuring that under this administration, the Red House will be restored and will be the permanent home for the Parliament of Trinidad and Tobago.
The Remedies of Creditors (Amendment) Bill, 2016 was introduced in the name of the Minister of Finance.
The Strategic Services Agency (Amendment) Bill, 2016 was introduced in the name of the Attorney General.
The Attorney General moved the second reading of the Family and Children Division Bill, 2016. Six Members made contributions before the Attorney General rose to conclude. The Bill was referred to a Joint Select Committee for consideration and report by April 29, 2016.
Dr. Surujrattan Rambachan, MP moved as a matter on the adjournment the dilapidated condition of the Flanigan Town R.C. School.
