The Copyright (Amendment) Bill, 2004

An Act to amend the Copyright Act, 1997

This Bill seeks to amend the Copyright Act, 1997 (Act No. 8 of 1997) to facilitate Trinidad and Tobago’s accession to the World Intellectual Property Copyright Treaty and to the World Intellectual Property Performances and Phonogram Treaty and to strengthen the enforcement provisions of the Act.

The Bill was referred to a Special Select Committee of the House of Representatives on 17 December 2004.
