Government Business: Bills Second Reading
The Miscellaneous Provisions (Proceeds of Crime, Anti-Terrorism, Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago)(No.2) Bill, 2014

The Minister of Finance and the Economy moved the second reading of the Miscellaneous Provisions (Proceeds of Crime, Anti-Terrorism, Financial Intelligence Unit of Trinidad and Tobago)(No.2) Bill, 2014, which was passed in the Senate on August 20, 2014. The Member for Diego Martin North/East then commented on the Bill before the Minister of Finance and the Economy rose to respond and wind up the debate. The Minister of Finance and the Economy then moved that the Bill be referred to a Committee of the whole House. The Motion was put and agreed to. The Bill was considered clause by clause and passed without amendment. It was then read a third time and passed by a special majority with 36 members voting for, no members voting against and no members abstaining.
