Dr. Maria Dillon-Remy of the Bill. The President of the Senate reserved her ruling for later in the proceedings.
The Attorney General, Hon. Faris Al-Rawi, MP, moved the second reading of The Miscellaneous Provisions (FATF Compliance) Bill, 2020. Debate began on the Bill. Following the debate, the Bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole for consideration. Amendments were made. With 23 votes for, 6 votes against and 1 abstention, the Bill was read a third time and passed.
The President of the Senate informed that she will present her ruling on the matter at the next Sitting of the Senate.
