The Vice-President granted leave of absence to Senators James Lambert and Elton Presott, SC. Mr. Wayne Munro and Mr. Albert Sydney were appointed to temporarily replace Senators Lambert and Prescott during their illness.

Debate resumed on the Appropriation (Financial Year – 2013) Bill, 2012. The Attorney General was first to contribute, followed by Sen. Fitzgerald Hinds, Sen. Prof. Harold Ramkissoon and the Minister of the Environment and Water Resources. Nine Senators made contributions before the Minister of Finance and the economy rose to conclude. The Bill was then read a third time and passed.
