Four bills were introduced in the names of the Attorney General, Prime Minister and Minister of Rural Development and Local Government. All bills were referred to Joint Select Committees for consideration and report by December 31, 2020.
Debate resumed on The Appropriation (Financial Year 2021) Bill, 2020. The Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, MP, wrapped up the budget debate in the House.
The Bill was referred to the Standing Finance Committee for consideration of Heads of Expenditure over a period of five days. With 22 votes for, 0 votes against and 19 abstentions, the Bill was read a third time and passed, without amendments.
