Leave of absence was granted to Sen. Dr. Varma Deyalsingh, who is out of the country. Mr. Josh Drayton was appointed temporary Senator in his place.

The Attorney General, Hon. Faris Al-Rawi, MP, moved the second reading of the Bail (Amendment)(No.2) Bill, 2019. Seven members made contributions on the Bill before Debate was suspended.
