The Speaker of the House, Hon. Jagdeo Singh, MP, made his ruling on the two privilege matters that were raised in the 4th Sitting of the House. In both matters, the Speaker ruled that no further action was required.
The Speaker of the House announced the appointments of members to Sessional Select Committees.

The Leader of the House, Hon. Barry Padarath, MP, moved motions regarding appointment of members to Joint Select Committees.
The Minister of Finance, Hon. Davedranath Tancoo, MP, moved the second reading of The Prime Minister’s Pension (Amendment) Bill, 2025. Debate began on the bill. Five members contributed to the debate before the wind up by the Attorney General, Sen. the Hon. John Jeremie, S.C. The bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. No amendments were made. With 27 votes for, no votes against and 11 abstentions, the bill was read a third time and passed.
The House considered Senate amendments to the Children’s Life Fund (Amendment) Bill, 2025. The amendments were approved.
