The Attorney General moved the 2nd reading of The Miscellaneous Provisions (Trial By Judge Alone) Bill, 2017. Debate began on the Bill with the Leader of the Opposition being first to contribute. The Bill was taken to Committee of the Whole and approved without amendments. The Bill was then read a third time and passed.

Dr. Bhoendradatt Tewarie, MP, raised a matter on the adjournment regarding the closure of the Preysal Government Primary School. The Minister of Education responded.
