The Clerk read a Proclamation that allowed for Members to attend sittings of the Houses virtually, with approval from the Presiding Officer.
The Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority Bill, 2021, which was passed in the Senate, was read a first time in the name of the Minister of Finance.

The Leader of the House moved that for the debate on the Appropriation (Financial Year – 2022) Bill, 2021, the Speaking time be amended as follows: Minister of Finance – unlimited, first responder – equivalent time to the Minister of Finance, all other speakers including the wind-up of the Minister of Finance – 45 minutes.
The Minister of Finance presented the budget for fiscal 2022.
