The Kabir Association of Trinidad (Incorporation)(Amendment) Bill, 2019 was brought from the House of Representatives. The President of the Senate moved that the next stage of the Bill be taken later in the proceedings. The motion was approved.

The Acting Leader of Government Business moved a motion that the JSC on the National Statistical Institute of Trinidad and Tobago Bill, 2018 be allowed an extension of 2 months to complete its work and submit a final report by August 31, 2020. The motion was approved.
The Attorney General, Hon. Faris Al-Rawi, MP, moved the second reading of The Miscellaneous Amendments (No. 2) Bill, 2020. Debate began on the Bill. Following the debate, the Bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole Senate for consideration clause by clause. Amendments were made and approved. The Bill was read a third time and passed.
The House amendments to the Domestic Violence (Amendment) Bill, 2020 were considered. The amendments were approved.
The President of the Senate moved the second reading of The Kabir Association of Trinidad (Incorporation)(Amendment) Bill, 2019. The Bill was read a third time and passed, without amendments.
Sen. Wade Mark raised a matter on the adjournment namely the failure of the Government to settle collective agreements in the public sector over the past four and a half years and its impact on the quality of life of workers. The Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, MP, responded.
Sen. Mark raised a second matter regarding the need for the Government to outline step by step the process used by the CDA, in the recent filling of the position of General Manager. The Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries responded.
