Government Business: Bills Second Reading
The Gambling (Gaming and Betting) Control Bill, 2015

The Minister of Finance and the Economy moved the second reading of the Gambling (Gaming and Betting) Control Bill, 2015. The Minister of Transport was first to enter the debate, followed by the Minister of State in the Ministry of Finance and the Economy and the Member for Caroni Central. The Minister of Finance and the Economy then rose to wind up the debate. The House resolved into Committee stage to consider the Gambling (Gaming and Betting) Control Bill, 2015 clause by clause. A division was taken, 26 for, 0 against and 0 abstentions, the Gambling (Gaming and Betting) Control Bill, 2015 was approved and passed.

During the contribution of the Member for Couva South, The Prime Minister rose to make a statement in the House informing of a request from the Government of the United States for a provisional arrest warrant for Mr. Jack Warner.
