The Minister of Finance and the Economy moved the second reading of the Finance (Variation of Appropriation)(Financial Year 2015) Bill, 2015. Sen. Dr. Lester Henry was first to enter the debate, followed by Sen. Dr. Dhanayshar Mahabir, The Minister of Trade, Industry, Investment and Communications and Sen. Shamfa Cudjoe. 16 Senators made contributions, including the maiden contribution of the Minister of Sport, Sen. the Hon. Brent Sancho, before the Minister of Finance and the Economy rose to conclude. The Bill was then read a third time and passed.

The Leader of Government Business moved a Motion asking the Senate to adopt the Second Report of the Standing Orders Committee of the Senate. Sen. Faris Al-Rawi was first to enter the debate, followed by Sen. Dr. Rolph Balgobin. The Leader of Government Business then rose to conclude. The Motion was approved and the report adopted.
