The Attorney General moved the second reading of the Bail (Amendment)(Extension of Duration) Bill, 2022. Nineteen senators contributed to the debate before the debate on the bill was adjourned.
The President of the Senate, Sen. the Hon. Christine Kangaloo, moved the second reading of the Soroptimist Club of Port of Spain (Incorporation) (Amendment) Bill, 2022. The bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. No amendments were made. The bill was read a third time and passed.
