The Attorney General, Hon. Faris Al-Rawi, MP, sought leave for motions to approve the Land Acquisition (Requisition) Order, 2018 and the Land Acquisition (Requisition) Order, 2019 to be debated together. Leave was granted. Debate began on both motions. Both motions were approved.
The Attorney General, Hon. Faris Al-Rawi, MP, moved a motion that the House consider the Senate Amendments to the Urban and Regional Planning Profession Bill, 2019.
Prior to the adjournment, the Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Keith Rowley, MP, advised that Parliament dissolves at midnight tonight, nomination day will be on Friday July 17, 2020 and polling day is August 10, 2020.
