The Committee stage of The Miscellaneous Provisions (Registrar General, Registration of Deeds, Conveyancing and Law of Property, Real Property, Stamp Duty and Registration of Title to Land) Bill, 2020 was resumed. Amendments were made. The Bill was read a third time and passed.
Debate continued on the The Urban and Regional Planning Profession Bill, 2019. The Bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. The Committee stage of the Bill will be resumed on Tuesday June 16, 2020.
Sen. Wade Mark raised a matter on the adjournment regarding the contamination of the recruitment process at the National Lotteries Control Board. The Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, MP, responded.
Sen. Taharqa Obika raised a matter on the failure of the Government to provide much needed support to the lives and livelihood of the PETROTRIN workers affected by the 2018 restructuring. The Minister of Energy and Energy Industries, Sen. the Hon. Franklin Khan, responded.
