Five questions qualified for oral answer. Questions #147 and #148 were deferred for two weeks.
The Attorney General moved the second reading of the The Criminal Division and District Criminal and Traffic Courts Bill, 2018.
Before adjourning, the Senate extended greetings to the National Community on the occasions of Eid-ul-Fitr and Labour Day, celebrated on June 15th and 19th respectively. The Leader of Government Business indicated that at the next sitting debate will continue on the Criminal Division and District Criminal and Traffic Courts Bill, 2018, begin on the Payments into Court Bill, 2018 and, time permitting, begin on the Miscellaneous Provisions (Supreme Court of Judicature and Children) Bill, 2018.
