The Leader of Government Business moved a motion that the JSC on the Insurance Bill, 2016, the JSC on the Gambling (Gaming and Betting) Control Bill, 2016 and JSC on the Cybercrime Bill, 2017 be granted an extension of eleven (11) weeks in order to complete its work and submit a final report by September 15, 2017. These motions were approved.

The Committee Stage of The Criminal Procedure (Plea Discussion and Plea Agreement) Bill, 2017 was resumed and concluded. The Bill was then read a third time and passed.

The Attorney General moved the second reading of The Bail (Access to Bail) (Amendment) Bill, 2017. Debate began on the Bill and will continue at the next Sitting.
