The Minister of Finance introduced The Tax Information Exchange Agreements Bill, 2018 and moved that the Bill be referred to a Joint Select Committee. This was agreed upon.

Two Motions

The Leader of the House moved a motion that, subject to the concurrence of the Senate, six members of the House (with equal number from the Senate) be appointed to serve on a Joint Select Committee to consider and report on the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority Bill by July 31, 2018. Six persons were appointed to the Committee. The motion was carried.
The Leader of the House moved another motion that, subject to the concurrence of the Senate, six members of the House (with equal number from the Senate) be appointed to serve on a Joint Select Committee to consider and report on the Income Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2018, the Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters Bill, 2018 and the Tax Information Exchange Agreements Bill, 2018 by June 30, 2018. Six persons were appointed to the Committee. The motion was moved.
