The Minister of Finance announced that the budget for fiscal 2017 would be read on September 30, 2016.
The Minister of Finance moved a Motion asking the House to agree with Senate amendments to the Remedies of Creditors (Amendment) Bill, 2016.
Debate continued on the Tax Information Exchange Agreement Bill, 2016. The Member for Caroni Central was first to contribute on this day, followed by the Attorney General. Debate on the Bill was then adjourned.
The Leader of the House moved that three Bills be restored in the next session of Parliament. A division was taken, the result of which was 40 for, none against, no abstentions:
The House adjourned sine die. This means that, barring unforeseen circumstances, this concludes the first session of the 11th Parliament. The next sitting will be held in a new Session of Parliament.
