Ashvani Mahabir, who are ill. Mr. Wayne Inniss, Ms. Folade Mutota, Mr. Elton Prescott, S.C., Mr. Sean Sobers and Ms. Hasine Shaikh were appointed temporary Senators in their absence.

Extension to JSC

The Acting Leader of Government Business moved two motions to grant to the JSC on the National Statistical Institute of Trinidad and Tobago Bill, 2018 and to the JSC on The Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters Bill, 2018, the Tax Information Exchange Agreements Bill, 2018 and the Income Tax (Amendment) Bill, 2018, extensions to September 27, 2019 in order for the Committees to complete its work and submit a final report. The motions were approved.
