The Speaker of the House, Hon. Jagdeo Singh, MP, welcomed students of the St. Gabriel’s Girls R.C. School and South East Port of Spain Secondary School to the chamber.

The Minister of Land and Legal Affairs, Hon. Saddam Hosein, MP, made a statement on the establishment of a State Land Investment and Development Public-Private-Partnership (PPP).
The Minister of Homeland Security, Hon. Roger Alexander, MP, made a statement on the increase of the sanctioned strength of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service.
The Minister of Rural Development and Local Government, Hon. Khadijah Ameen, MP, moved the second reading of the Public Health (Amendment) Bill, 2026. Debate then began on the bill. Five Members made contributions before the Minister rose to wind up. The Bill was then referred to a Committee of the Whole to be considered clause by clause. The Bill was then read a third time and passed.
The Minister of Defence and Minister in the Ministry of Homeland Security, Hon. Wayne Sturge, MP, moved the second reading of the Administration of Justice (Deoxyribonucleic Acid)(Amendment) Bill, 2026. Four members contributed to the debate before the wind up by the Hon. Wayne Sturge, MP. The bill was then committed to the Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. The bill was approved with amendments. The bill was read a third time and passed.
