Senator Anil Roberts made a personal explanation offering an apology for statements made in the public domain which the Committee of Privileges ruled brought the Senate and its presiding officer into disrepute.

The Leader of Government Business moved that Senator Dr. Muhammad Yunus Ibrahim be appointed to the Joint Select Committee on Land and Physical Infrastructure in place of former Senator Franklin Khan.

The Leader of Government business moved a Motion asking the Senate to allow an alteration of speaking time due to the covid-19 pandemic as follows: 45 minutes for the mover of a Motion, 40 Minutes for the first responder on other benches, and 30 minutes for all other speakers and the conclusion of the debate. The Senate agreed.

The Minister of Finance moved the second reading of the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority Bill, 2021.
