Allegations of the use of Excessive Force

The Member for Fyzabad sought leave to raise as a Definite Matter of Urgent Public Importance the allegations of the use of excessive Force by members of the protective services, including the regiment and police service, against citizens of Fyzabad and surrounding areas who have been protesting for better roads and utilities. The Speaker ruled that the matter did not qualify under this Standing Order.
