The Senate resumed debate on a Private Motion by Independent Senator Paul Richards (from April 27, 2021) on the deficiencies in dealing with violent crimes against women and girls. Sen. Richards wound up the debate on the motion. The motion was approved.
Sen. Wade Mark raised a matter on the adjournment regarding the need of the Government to explain the specific measures being used to monitor and evaluate COVID-19 positive patients in home quarantine. The Leader of Government Business, Sen. the Hon. Clarence Rambharat, responded.
