Questionable and inequitable hiring practices at the North West Regional Health Authority

The Member for Caroni East sought leave to raise as a definite matter of urgent public importance under Standing order 12 on the failure of the Government and the Ministry of Health to immediately investigate the continuing highly questionable and inequitable hiring practices at the North West Regional Health Authority. The Speaker ruled that the matter did not qualify under this Standing Order.

The Bill was then considered in Committee and passed without amendments.
