The Leader of Government Business, Hon. Camille Robinson-Regis, MP, moved a motion that the speaking time for the debate on the motion to adopt the report of the JSC appointed to consider and report on the Constitution (Amendment) (Tobago Self-Government) Bill, 2020 be as follows: A maximum of 2 hours for the mover of the motion and the first responder, 90 minutes for a maximum of one person on each bench, 60 minutes for a maximum of 2 persons on each bench, 20 minutes for all other contributions and a maximum of 60 minutes for the mover in reply. The motion was approved.
The Leader of Government Business, Hon. Camille Robinson-Regis, MP, moved a motion to adopt the report of the Joint Select Committee on the Constitution (Amendment) (Tobago Self-Government) Bill, 2020. Seven Members contributed to the bill before the debate was suspended to the next Sitting.
