Sen. Gerald Ramdeen raised a matter related to the death of a child under the care of the Children’s Authority. The President was not satisfied that the matter qualified under this Standing Order.
Debate continued on The Criminal Procedure (Plea Discussion and Plea Agreement) Bill, 2017. Sen. Sophia Chote, SC was first to enter the debate, followed by the Minister of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries, Sen. Gerald Ramdeen and Sen. Melissa Ramkissoon.
