The President granted leave of absence to Sen. the Hon. Anand Ramlogan, SC, Sen. Lyndira Oudit and Sen. Basharat Ali. Mr. Arnold Ram and Mr. Jamal Mohammed were appointed to temporarily replace Sen. Ramlogan and Sen. Oudit respectively during their absence.

Pennelope Beckles, Independent Sen. Dr. Rolph Balgobin, Government Sen. Danny Maharaj, Opposition Sen. Elton Prescott, SC and Independent Sen. Dr. James Armstrong. The Minister of Health rose to conclude the debate. The Bill was considered in Committee and the Committee Stage was suspended.
