The Senate paid tribute to former Senator, Angus Khan, who passed away on September 4, 2016. A minute silence was observed.

The Minister of Finance moved the 2nd reading of the Remedies of Creditors (Amendment) Bill 2016. Senator Wade Mark is first to enter the debate. The Bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole for consideration clause by clause. The Bill was amended in the Committee Stage. The Bill was then read a third time and passed (with amendment).
