The Finance (Supplementary Appropriation)(Financial Year 2022) Bill, 2022

The Minister of Finance moved the second reading of the Finance (Supplementary Appropriation)(Financial Year 2022) Bill, 2022. 16 Senators made contributions before the Minister of Finance rose to conclude. The Bill was read a second time, not referred to a Committee of the Whole, then read a third time and passed.

Matter On The Adjournment
Two Matters

Senator Mark raised as a Matter on the Motion for the Adjournment of the House, the negative impacts of ‘Long COVID’ and the need for the establishment of specialized medical teams for its clinical management as well as remedial action in COVID-19 social support mechanisms. The Minister of Health responded.

Senator Mark then raised the establishment of a national social support network to aid in the mental rehabilitation of those affected mentally by the COVID-19 pandemic. The Minister of Health again responded.
