Four bills will be brought from the House of Representatives including the Anti-Doping in Sports (Amendment) Bill, 2023, which was passed in the House of Representatives on June 20, 2023. The Minister of Sport and Community Development, Hon. Shamfa Cudjoe, MP, moved that the next stage of the Bill be taken later in the proceedings. The motion was approved.
The Trinidad and Tobago Netball Association (Incorporation) (Amendment) Bill, 2023, The Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies Incorporation (Amendment) Bill, 2023 and The Trinidad and Tobago National Council on Alcoholism (Incorporation) (Amendment) Bill, 2023 were all read a first time in the name of the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate moved that the next stage of the Bills be taken later in the proceedings. The motions were approved.

Sen. Maria Dillon Remy raised as a matter on the Adjournment, the need for the Government to address the pattern of shortfall in the budgetary allocation to the Tobago House of Assembly (THA) during the last five (5) years and the resulting challenges. The Minister of Finance responded.
