Two Bills

The Anti-Doping in Sports (Amendment) Bill, 2023 was introduced in the name of the Minister of Sport and Community Development.

The Municipal Corporations (Extension of Terms of Office and Validation) Bill, 2023 was introduced by the Attorney General, who moved that the next stage of the Bill be taken on Monday May 29, 2023. The motion was approved.

Matter On The Adjournment
Two Matters

Ms. Anita Haynes, MP raised a matter on the adjournment namely the failure of the Ministry of Works and Transport to commence the rehabilitation works at the Bon Aventure Main Road landslip in the vicinity of Ragoobar Lands in a timely manner. The Minister of Works and Transport, Sen. the Hon. Rohan Sinanan, responded.

Ms. Haynes raised a second matter namely the failure of the Minister of Works and Transport to provide expedited solutions to the worsening road hazards in the form of recurrent mudslides on the Guaracara-Tabaquite Main Road at the 17km mark. The Minister of Works and Transport, Sen. the Hon. Rohan Sinanan, responded.
