The Minster of National Security, Hon. Stuart Young, MP, moved the second reading of The Administration of Justice (Electronic Monitoring) (Amendment) Bill, 2020. Debate began on the Bill. Following the debate, the Bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole Senate for consideration clause by clause. Amendments were made. The Bill was read a third time and passed.
Sen. Wade Mark raised a matter on the adjournment of the need for the Government to properly provide some degree of accountability for the allocation to the respective religious organizations of $30 Million Dollars. The Acting Leader of Government Business responded.
Sen. Mark raised another matter on the economic stress of small and medium business during this time. The Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Sen. the Hon. Allyson West, responded.
