Leave of absence was granted to Sen. the Hon. Dominic Smith, who is out of the country, and to Sen. the Hon. Darrell Allahar and Sen. Michael S.V. de la Bastide, who are ill. Mr. Rishi Tripathi, Mr. Andrew Ramsubeik and Dr. Deborah Mc Fee were appointed temporary senators in their place respectively.
Temporary Senators, Mr. Tripathi, Mr. Ramsubeik and Dr. Mc Fee, took the oath of allegiance.

The Minister of Finance, Hon. Davendranath Tancoo, MP, made a statement on removal of Trinidad and Tobago from the European Union’s list of non cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes.
The Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, Sen. the Hon. Eli Zakour, made a statement on the Motor Vehicles and Road Traffic (Amendment) Bill, 2026.
Debate resumed (from November 26, 2025) on the private motion calling on the Government to table a Comprehensive National Strategic Plan for Persons with Disabilities. Seven senators contributed to the debate before the adjournment of the Senate.
