Prime Minister’s Question Time is expected to take place today, as allowed under the Standing Orders at the second sitting of the House in each calendar month. There are some ten questions listed for response by the Prime Minister.
The Attorney General moved the second reading of the Bail (Amendment) Bill, 2015. The Member for Diego Martin North/East was first to enter the debate, followed by the Minister of Legal Affairs and Justice and the Member for Laventille East/Morvant. Eight members made contributions before the Attorney General rose to conclude.
At the next sitting debate is expected to conclude on the Bail (Amendment) Bill, 2015. Deliberations are expected to continue on the Motor Vehicle and Road Traffic Bill, 2014 and the Trade Marks Bill, 2014. The House is also expected to consider Senate amendments to the National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago (Amendment) Bill, 2015. The sitting ended at 8:57 p.m.
