The Attorney General, Sen. the Hon. Reginald Armour, S.C., made a statement regarding civil action on the matter of Brent Thomas and Specialist Shooters Training Centre Limited against the Attorney General and the Director of Public Prosecutions and the judgement delivered by Justice Davindra Rampersad in April 2023.

The Finance (Supplementation and Variation of Appropriation) (Financial Year 2023) Bill, 2023 was introduced in the name of the Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, MP, who moved that the next stage of the Bill be taken later in the proceedings. The motion was approved.

The Trinidad and Tobago National Council on Alcoholism (Incorporation) (Amendment) Bill, 2023 was read a first time by the Deputy Speaker of the House.

The Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, MP, moved a motion that the House adopt the Second Report of the Standing Finance Committee of the House of Representatives for the Third Session (2022/2023), Twelfth Parliament on the consideration of proposals for the Supplementation and Variation of Appropriation for the fiscal year 2023. Debate began on the motion. Eight members contributed before the wind up by the Minister of Finance. The motion was approved.

The Minister of Finance, Hon. Colm Imbert, MP, moved the second reading of The Finance (Supplementation and Variation of Appropriation) (Financial Year 2023) Bill, 2023.
