The Speaker granted leave of absence to the Members for Oropouche East and Caroni Central.
The Leader of the House sought and obtained leave for a petition on behalf of the Netball Association of Trinidad and Tobago to be read. The Organisation was seeking incorporation via Act of Parliament.

The Member for Naparima moved a private motion calling on the House to reprimand the Government for its failure to effectively prevent the surge in criminal activity in the country.
The House adjourned to a date to be fixed. Before adjourning, Members extended greetings to the Spritual Baptist community on the occasion of Spiritual Baptist Shouter Liberation Day, which is celebrated on March 30th each year. The Sitting ended at 6:09 p.m.
