Leave of absence was granted to Sen. the Hon. Dennis Moses and Sen. Sophia Chote, S.C., who are out of the country. Mr. Ndale Young and Mr. Josh Drayton were appointed temporary Senators in their absence.

The Civil Asset Recovery and Management and Unexplained Wealth Bill, 2019 was brought from the House of Representatives. The Attorney General moved that the next stage of the Bill be taken on Monday April 15, 2019. The motion was carried.

Seven questions qualify for oral answer. Questions #196 and #197 were deferred.
Consideration of The Non-Profit Organisations Bill, 2019 in the Committee of the Whole commenced. Following the Committee Stage, the Bill was read a third time and passed, with amendments.
Sen. Wade Mark raised a matter on the adjournment regarding the process in the termination of four General Managers at National Flour Mills. The Minister of Trade and Industry responded.
Sen. Mark raised a second matter regarding the quality of the fuel being purchased by Paria Trading Fuel Company. The Minister of Energy and Energy Industries responded.
