Six Papers were laid in the names of the Leader of the House, Minister of Finance, Minister of Education and Minister of Health. Papers 2 and 3 were referred to the Public Accounts (Enterprises) Committee. See Order Paper for details.

The Attorney General moved the second reading of the the Miscellaneous Provisions (Marriage) Bill, 2016 in the House of Representatives. Debate began on this Bill. Debate on the Bill was adjourned to another Sitting.
The Minister of Finance moved the second reading of the the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Property (Amendment) Bill, 2016. Debate began on this bill. Following the debate, the Bill was taken to the Committee Stage for consideration on a clause by clause basis. The Bill was then read a third time and passed.
The House adjourned to Monday March 6, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. At the next sitting debate is expected to begin on the Criminal Procedure (Plea Discussion and Plea Agreement) Bill, 2017. The Sitting concluded at 6:15 p.m.
