The Attorney General moved a Motion asking the House to approve the statement of the President on the Economic Sanctions (Implementation of the United Nations Resolutions on the Islamic Republic of Iran) Order, 2023. Four Members made contributions before the Attorney General rose to wind up the debate. The Motion was approved.
The Minister of Works and Transport moved a Motion asking the House to approve the acquisition of land for a public purpose, namely, the construction of the extension of the Churchill Roosevelt Highway. Four members contributed to the debate before the wind up by the Minister of Works and Transport. The motion was approved.
Tribute was paid to former Parliamentarian Leon Prevatt who passed away on March 29, 2023. Mr. Prevatt served during the 2nd Republican Parliament. A minute of silence was observed.
